The Aeolus 5.0 features our wind-cheating 50mm carbon rim cross-section and top-quality materials to create our lightest aerodynamic wheelset.

  • The carbon clincher version of Astana's daily racing wheelset.
  • 50mm cross section and aero profile provide the optimal height to width ratio for aerodynamic performance on everyday rides (with 22mm tire)
  • New lacing pattern and revised layup OCLV rim work together to provide the best combination of aerodynamics and weight in the Aeolus line
  • Aerodynamic profile designed in collaboration with aero-guru Steve Hed
  • New hubs design features improved aerodynamic profile as well as more durable drive mechanism with faster engagement than previous design
  • Includes Ti skewers, wheel bags, Carbon Stop brake pads and alloy valve extenders
  • Note: Requires the use of carbon specific brake pads
