Cateye R2

The compact R2 might be small but it's easily the brightest 2 LED lighting system available. Using 2 Lumiled LEDs and Cateye’s Power Opticube lens technology, the R2 is almost as bright as the R3!

To keep the overall package small, the R2 is supplied with a lightweight 2.3Ah Li-ion battery which gives a run time of 2 hours on full power or 4 hours on low. The R2 is supplied with the same remote switch as the R3 complete with low battery warning LEDs. Its small size and low weight (only 332 grams) make it an ideal helmet light so a helmet mount is included in the box.
